The BCES would like to shout out a VERY BIG THANK YOU to well known Boyne City bus driver and artist Jerry Douglas for creating our new Rambler Wings that are now up on the outside of the ES building front entrance. Such an amazing addition to our school not only now but for years to come! Stop by the Elementary School for a fun pic with the wings. There's three different heights, so know matter how big or small there's a Rambler Wing for all!! #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

BCES is super excited to announce the Rambler Cup Recipient this week- 4th Grader, Ruby Joyce from Mrs. Spate's class! This is our way to celebrate when a student is trying their best to be Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Safe, and Kind with a prideful love for school. When a student is awarded the Rambler Cup, they take it home for the week and their name will be engraved on it at the end of the school year. #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Much THANKS to Eric and Megan Frykberg from the BCES 4th Graders! They had such a great time on their walking field trip to Boyne Avenue Greenhouse last Friday. There was plenty of fresh air and lots to learn about spring planting! #boynepride #boyneinspires #boynecares

Congratulations to BCES 2nd Grader Anneliese Hoffman for winning 3rd Place in the Crooked Tree Young Writers Exposition for her story about her family's trip to Taiwan.
Way to go Anneliese! #boyneinspires #boynepride

A HUGE BCES THANK YOU goes out to artist Martina Hahn who visited our Elementary School last Friday to host The Sleeping Bear Assembly for our 2nd and 3rd Grade students. This exciting program included a short film and speed painting, written around the Legend of the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The Film premiered at the LA Skins Fest in Hollywood and is showing at dozens of Film Festivals in both Europe and North America. It is an ode to the film makers' childhood in Northern Michigan. Johanna Oswald is an alumnus of the Boyne Falls Public Schools, currently living and working in Germany. Her film is an endearing tribute to Northern Michigan, its history and folklore, and was created in collaboration with the LTBB's Language Department, as well as other North American artists.

Don't forget about Kindergarten Round-Up! If you need to sign up there's still time from now until April 28th!
