BCMS Student Council is running their annual Community Christmas drive. Looking for can and non-perishable food items as well as puzzles for ages 2-18. Items can be brought to Boyne City Middle School. Collecting items now through December 9th.

BOYNE MEETS BROADWAY (BMB) is NOVEMBER 14, 15 & 16 at 7 pm. Tickets are now on sale for $10 each. Tickets can be purchased from a cast member, in the BCHS office or at the door starting at 6 pm each night, until sold out!

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and from our Early Learners through our high school buildings, we have Boyne students and staff with Type One Diabetes (T1D). T1D is a life-long condition that has no cure.
For these reasons, Boyne City Public Schools will be promoting Diabetes Awareness for the month of November, and on World Diabetes Day, November 14th, a special "Boyne Wears Blue" day for Type One Diabetes Awareness. We will be offering these shirts and sweatshirts with proceeds going directly to supporting our very own Boyne diabetic students.
Please see the link below for purchasing a “Boyne Wears Blue” shirt. These items will be delivered on November 12/13th so that they can be worn on November 14th. This year Ms. Hamilla and the BCMS Innovations class got a $2,000 boost thanks to a grant from Great Lakes Energy. BCPS was one of 18 grant recipients chosen from 47 applicants. The grant funded the purchase of a larger 3D printer that students will use to print assistive devices for people with disabilities as well as help them to expand the use of their polyformer kit, which allows them to turn water bottles into 3D printer filament.

Keep up the good work, and thank you, Layna, Megan, Kara, Julie, Nicole, Kira, Regina, Julie, Alyssa, Onica, Jean, Gwen, Chelsey, and Carol, for caring for our students with the meals you prepare for each student!
Here are the stats through last week for meals served:
Breakfast: Increase of 16,257 meals from last year, with a total of 56,934 meals served!
Lunch: Increase of 21,837 meals from last year, with a total of 126,902 meals served!

Impact Award Announcement! BCPS and BC Boosters are proud to announce the Rambler Impact Award winners! Each recipient will have $1,000 donated to the program of their choice in their honor. Our next recipient to celebrate is: Julie Sisson!
Julie is our middle school counselor serving students in grades 5-8. Her impact goes far beyond the traditional counselor roles. She actively connects students to resources, helps develop student leaders, and finds special ways to make community connections. Save the Date! Our Boyne City Middle School 5th grade students have been busy planting and prepping for our annual plant sale on Wednesday, May 22 from 3:00-6:00PM. We will have vegetables, annuals, perennials, and many student created garden projects available for purchase.
The District basketball game that was supposed to be tonight vs Kalkaska has been postponed until tomorrow 2/29/24, with a tip off of 7:00. The girls Varsity basketball game vs. Bellaire scheduled for tomorrow will now have a 5:00 tip off.
If you have already purchased tickets via GoFan.co, they will be transferable to tomorrow’s 7:00 game.
