The ARRRR Is For Reading Celebration at BCES last Friday night was a jolly good time!!!
The family fun pirate themed evening was filled with all sorts of pirate activities, crafts and games. Students were able to dress like a pirate, walk the plank, take photos with pirates and a shark and listen to famous Pirate Jolly Roger himself read a tall tale during story time.
Families also had the chance to shop for books and reading themed supplies at the Scholastic Book Fair located in the Media Center.
A Yo Ho Ho Huge thank you to all of the students, parents, staff and community who volunteered, donated and joined in to help create such an amazing event!
